BALTIMORE - Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon selected acting Police
Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III for the department's top job.

"I had great confidence in what I saw in Frederick H. Bealefeld," she

Bealefeld will replace Leonard D. Hamm, whom Dixon asked to step down
